Cowardly Acts Through the Mail

Yet another noose:

The principal of Canarsie High School received a noose along with a racially charged letter yesterday, the police said. The package was delivered to the school over the weekend and opened yesterday morning.

The principal, Tyona Washington, who is black, is in her first year at the school, which is in Brooklyn.

The hate crimes unit of the Police Department is investigating, but the police said yesterday that there were no suspects.
